Peter Benchley JV arrived in our world on the same day his breeder, Violet Sage Walker, was honored with the Excellence in Action Award at the Peter Benchley Ocean Awards. Needless to say, he’s been special from the start… and he continues to blossom in his own right.

“Peter” represents the best of the Jerland Arabians program. He’s by Verdict J+ (Versace x Alishahmaal), a stallion Larry Jerome bred as an outcross for his Khadraj NA+++/ and Puccini J daughters. Violet continued his vision with this cross. Peter is by Verdict J+ and out of Madame Butterfly J, by the gorgeous Puccini J (WH Justice x Miss Giovanna).

Peter is a leggy and tall, with laidback shoulders, tippy ears, big eyes, lovely stretch, and a poll that will bridle with ease. His movement is soft and round, and he will excel under saddle as a most beautiful riding partner in the show ring or on the trail.
